The concept we are explaining is conservation of energy. Conservation of energy heavily correlates with roller coasters. One way to explain this is using newtons laws. Kinetic energy and potential energy are in play while the cart is in use. What we want to teach the kids is the physics behind some extremely fun things that might seem simple.
